Who are Lobster Learning?

Lobster Learning has evolved out of many years of blue chip industry experience. It was created to develop humane solutions to human challenges!

Why "Lobster" Learning?!
In order to grow and develop a Lobster must shed its shell. Whilst they are changing the Lobster makes itself vulnerable. We support people through this period whilst they develop to be the best they can be in order to drive business success.

What do we do?

We provide a Learning and Development “one stop” service to companies. Whether you have a fully functional L&D department or whether you aspire to be a learning organisation but do not have the headcount to support this, Lobster Learning will be of interest to you.

What do we mean by “one stop” service? 

Learning and Development encompasses all aspects of an employee’s journey through a company. Along the way the needs of a company and its staff are multi-factorial. Different needs for L&D and different methods of delivery and measurement are required. This is challenging as it stands. Combine this with the fact that each human’s capacity for, and style of learning differs, and you have a highly complex task ahead of you.   
Lobster Learning can map each individual’s path through the company. From recruitment to on-boarding. From basic training to ongoing excellence all the way through to maintenance and/or promotion. Lobster Learning can provide you with solutions. We can provide the infrastructure for L&D and the technology (through our association with Filtered) to assist where appropriate.  

It is perfectly possible to access the entire service or to simply dip in and out as benefits your organisation!

Why do we do it?

Most companies recognise the need for L&D support. However, the skills are often lacking internally to provide the support needed. If the skills are present it is often the case that the budget is not. By providing support for your L&D needs and aspirations when and where it is required, you can save money whilst delivering the excellence towards which you strive. 

Our passion is for helping people to be the best they can be to benefit themselves and the company. We often hear companies saying that their people are their most important assets. Yet too often once a person is on-boarded little qualified attention is given to their on-going L&D. 

We believe that a change in attitude to L&D, enabling people to take more responsibility, but assisting them to do that, is what is needed. 

 How do we do it?

Initial free consultation to ascertain how much/which aspect of L&D support is needed. The appropriate learning blend is then designed and delivered over a clearly defined timeframe. Measurement of all solutions is included in the costings and range from objective observatory feedback to online testing and sales force effectiveness events.
